Build your own RFID-Based Smart Door Lock System with this hands-on DIY electronics kit. Students create a miniature door model using cardboard and integrate an Arduino UNO, RC522 RFID reader, servo motor, LCD display, LEDs, and buzzer to create a working access-control system.
The RFID reader scans a card or tag and sends its unique ID to the Arduino. If the card is authorized, the servo motor unlocks the door and the LCD displays “Access Granted.” If an unauthorized card is detected, the door remains locked and the buzzer provides an alert.
This project gives students practical experience with RFID technology, Arduino programming, electronic connections, servo control, LCD interfacing, and conditional logic while building a functional security system from scratch.
